Jetstar operates daily flights to Avalon airport from Sydney, Adelaide, Hobart and the Gold Coast.

Melbourne International Airport (also known as Tullamarine) is the primary airport servicing Melbourne and is over an hour from Geelong. When booking flights to Melbourne, be sure to check whether you are flying into Melbourne or Avalon.

Shuttle Services From Avalon

Whilst several companies offer Shuttle Bus services between Avalon Airport and Geelong, none are currently wheelchair accessible.

Geelong Taxi Service have 24 accessible taxis that cover Geelong, Torquay and Bellarine Peninsula. Most cabs can carry 2 wheelchairs. If you wish, you can even make your booking well in advance of your required pick up date and time. Shuttle Services From Melbourne Airport

Sky Bus will get you from Melbourne Airport to Southern Cross Station, where V-Line trains depart (see our Getting to Geelong by Train page). Guide dogs, hearing guide dogs or guide dogs in training and animals covered by the Assistance Animal Pass will be permitted to travel on SkyBus.
