The atomic bomb was dropped on 6th August in 1945. About 140,000 people of the 420,000 population died. Wheelchairs, strollers, walking sticks, and walking frames can access the Museum. The A-Bomb Dome is part of the Peace Memorial Museum and approximately 1 km away from the Museum.
The Museum has 11 wheelchairs and 6 strollers are available for use, free of charge. If you wish to use a wheelchair or a stroller, please ask the staff at the Information counter. You may leave your stroller with us while touring the Museum. Peace memorial park is located in center of downtown
